If you are one of the tourists that have experienced the hassle of finding a place to stay, then, welcome to the club! I was once lost in finding a good accommodation during my last vacation. Last year, I went there on my own because I want some adventure. It was my first time to visit the Philippines and I am not familiar with the cities and the best destinations to go to. Although I’ve done some research on most popular tourist spots, I can’t help but to feel a little bit lost. But the good news is, there are top five hotel booking android apps in the Philippines that helped me to find a nice place to stay.

When I arrived at the airport, I was so excited to roam around the country, but at the same time, I was very nervous. I took my phone and searched for the available booking apps to find the nearest hotels.

Here is the screenshot of the top 5 results on Google Play:

On the top of the result is the Booking.com Hotel Reservations:

This app is amazing, very easy to use with complete details and pricing of the available hotels. It does need credit card credentials for some hotels. You can pay the fees on the date you arrived at the hotel. You can also cancel your booking if you want or need to. I used this and it really helped me to pick the nearest and most affordable hotel to stay. It also has a map to guide the user reach their destinations. Photos and Descriptions are provided too.

I had a list of most visited tourist destinations and it includes Baguio City, Palawan, Boracay, and Tagaytay. Although I want to go to all of those places, but I decided to go to Tagaytay first. I opened the app, and searched for Tagaytay hotel.

The next app is the Trip Advisor Hotels Flights:

This is not a perfect app for the accommodation for the lack of some details and specifications of the current status of the hotels. It just redirects you to Booking.com. But the good thing about it is the list of activity recommendations and reviews. You can choose from the wide range of activities during your stay. I saw the list of possible stops on my tour to Tagaytay.

The third is the Expedia Hotels, Flights, and Cars:

Although this is a good app too, but many have reviewed the app and said that there is no other option to categorize your vacation, with some bugs. This is suggested for simple booking only. I used this for booking my flight to Manila.

The fourth app is the Hotel Quickly:

It requires the user to log in every time they open the app. The search functionality is good with complete details too. Payment method for booking hotels is through PayPal or credit card. The bad side of this up is the irrevocable booking. Once you press that send button, you are automatically entitled to pay the fees.

The last on our list is the Hotel Philippines Price List:

It provides the most affordable prices that range from USD 40 – USD 100. It also has the description, pictures, and Google Map Location of the hotels.

All these apps are useful in their own unique ways. Thanks to them that my flight, Accommodation, and Activities had gone smoothly. I enjoyed my stay in Tagaytay, Philippines. Even though it was my first trip abroad, I am glad that I’ve spent my vacation there. I will definitely do this next year. Since this post is about those top android apps, I will write my adventure on my next post.
